Mission Statement

The Mission of the North Dakota Mental Health Counselors Association is to enhance the lives of our citizens by providing counselors opportunities for professional development and advocacy, while offering a network of support within the field of counseling.

Purpose

To provide a professional forum for mental health professionals to discuss issues, concerns, and problems
To provide information on referral services to the general public, volunteers, professionals, and any other individuals with regard to the issues of mental health counselors
To facilitate workshops and training directed toward the interest of mental health counselors
To represent mental health counselors in the State legislature
To recognize counselors for the leadership and service to clients through the Outstanding Mental Health Counselor of the Year Award
